Frequently used emoji

The emoji picker now adapts to the emoji you choose most often. Its frequently used row starts with eight common emoji, then reorders and expands as you use the picker. Up to 16 of your most frequently chosen emoji are kept one click away.

Usage is saved to your account and applies anywhere the emoji picker appears, including reactions and the text editor. Each displayed emoji is counted separately, so skin tone variants can appear as distinct frequently used choices.
