Email to group

Groups can now have a dedicated email address for starting discussions by email.

How it works

Each group gets a unique email address (displayed in group settings). Any group member can email that address to start a new discussion. The email subject becomes the thread title and the email body becomes the first comment. Attachments are included automatically.

Managing incoming email

Group coordinators can create email aliases for members who want to post from a different address than the one on their Loomio account. Addresses can be allowlisted or blocked from the group settings page.

Instance admins must enable incoming email for the instance before groups can use this feature.
