Our commons are under threat. Cash-strapped councils are facing pressures to sell off green spaces and are finding it a challenge to maintain public parks. The need to restore our ecosystems is urgent.

This Scheme supports communities to protect, enhance and reinvigorate their public green space with beautiful, diverse, self-sustaining food systems which are much more productive and CLIMATE RESILIENT than conventional horticulture, and more welcoming to wildlife!

What's more, we hope that planting more forest gardens will invite us all not to take nature for granted. We need it more than it needs us!
