Firstly, if anyone who lives in those areas is interested in entering but doesn't have the design skills, I can help you out, either working from a rough pencil sketch and/or choosing plants.
Secondly, does anyone know if the City Garden brief (6m x 4m) is a standard competition size? I've been thinking about what Jane said about Forest Garden Patterns, that it would be rather handy to have a few "templates" ready, so that forest garden advocates can easily adapt them for competitions such as this.

I've asked a garden designer friend, apparently there's no common competition garden size. However, there are sizes for different RHS shows, I'll work out some sort of average
