'Reveal after close' poll didn't reveal voters after close (closed 23 March)
– just ping me if you want me to set a test and see if i can reproduce; not a big deal but would be cool to get the data of who was which vote on this particular vote depicted @Rob Guthrie

Greg Kan

Yeah I don't feel confident it's gone either. That's cool - will discuss with Rob further.

john gieryn

I have not managed to reproduce recently; I tried once some weeks back (I think with this same example). I feel scant on time, but part of me still wonders whether there's a latent bug here... not sure why it would have gotten fix I suppose is the reason for that hunch FWIW

Greg Kan

hey @John Gieryn, finally following up on this. unfortunately this example seems to actually work now, although i don't believe that means this is fixed. do you know if you can reproduce this still?

Robert Guthrie

Thanks for reporting, now that angular client is retired we can fix the underlying issues with tags. We'll look into it shortly.

john gieryn

Having a similar tags issue that I described to you some weeks/month back @Greg Kan – tag page not showing relevant threads:

Robert Guthrie

@John Gieryn also: auto linking urls when pasting is fixed

Robert Guthrie

@John Gieryn I'm not sure where your message is now, but I've got a fix for members can notify group issue you reported. Thanks. It'll be live shortly.

Robert Guthrie

ok fixed this now. thank you for the heads up, it was just happening to the poll authors vote

john gieryn

@Rob Guthrie I can't leave a reason with my vote (tried hard refresh; no dice). Hope you're having a nice holiday weekend

Robert Guthrie

oh dear! I'll investigate the quick fix today.. I was pretty sure this was e2e tested stuff.

john gieryn

When you invite someone without a Loomio account to a thread by inserting their email into invite to vote the user flow (any link they click in the email they're sent) brings them to a "You do not have permission to do this" screen @Michael Elwood-Smith @Rob Guthrie @Greg Kan

Tags bug, try pods in Enspiral

Threads that I have looked at this session will then appear

Not sure if this is intended or not, but when I post a hyperlink it does not autoformat as a hyperlink: https://twitter.com/nerkles/status/1236880604244905984

john gieryn

ff strange secondary scroll bar in modal (edit context) makes it very hard to scroll down through all of the copy that was there: https://www.loom.com/share/bb78cd66ddc34f3c8780918c282a67f4

Matthew Bartlett

I think that link needs people to log in — I think we used to have a shareable link that didn't need a login created

david rayner

i would put the standalone poll on the 'do not recusitate' table as, in my experience, any poll engenders discussion and cross -referencing becomes problematic.

or...sometimes less talk is better?🤔

Greg Kan

@Matthew Bartlett If you click the dropdown ellipsis you should see the "copy link" option. It will take someone to the poll on the thread page. The standalone poll page is out of commission at the moment but I believe we will resuscitate it!

Greg Kan

deploying fix for this now @John Gieryn

Minor bug| FF When I navigate directly to a secret group I'm not a part of it appears that I am not logged in when in fact I am

Robert Guthrie

Hi @Marek Koys. We've had a look and are unable to reproduce the problem you're talking about. If it happens again, please let us know and pass along the poll or discussion url. (Email contact@loomio.org)

Marek Koys

Hi, I'm excited about how you are progressing with the Loomio 2.0 you have done amazing work so far! Nevertheless, we are having an issue with simple voting in our new group.

We set up a simple pool to explain basics functions to our new team members, and despite me making a vote, it didn't count. The yellow confirmation button "vote" doesn't respond. I tried to reload the page, and do it again, but still, no response. I wonder if you have an idea about what's wrong.

Thanks

john gieryn

Thread items out of order

Items were moved into or from

I showed @Greg Kan

john gieryn

FF | Android

From Group page I cannot scroll through the various tabs (eg, Settings, Subgroups...) I only see the first three and they have a strange left-margin as if someone hit Tab (moving fast sry for lack of screenshot LMK if ya need it @Rob Guthrie )

Time poll voting bug

Potentially issues with add option and/or edit vote as well

I've shown this to @Greg Kan and invited him to the relevant thread (Summer Fest 2020 Crew group, "Meeting coordination")

Greg – here's the other quote from Carolyn who apparently voted "Yes" or "If-need-be" to at least two of the options

I filled it out but I must have had issues if you didn’t see it.

john gieryn

Open groups - membership appears to be visible to non-members (LMK if you need the group/url where I experienced this – I was in incognito, not logged in, in Firefox)

Greg Kan

@John Gieryn let me know if you see this again! i've seen it but couldn't reproduce it. we pushed some speculative code that hopefully fixes it. i haven't seen it again myself.

john gieryn

Move thread feature randomly fires on arrival to thread (via in-app notification) and then cannot be closed:

Loom videos sent via email @Rob Guthrie

Robert Guthrie

I've solved the endless login now. Thank you

Joriam Philipe

Hey john and Rob!

Just an additional piece of info here — I just went to probe the subloomio and the settings were 'secret', so at least part of the mystery is solved. About the endless login thing, I'm not sure.

Robert Guthrie

Ok, please email the subgroup url and user details. thank you.

john gieryn

Hi @Rob Guthrie I think some of this is requires dev attention, and the bit that might be first-level I don't have time for until later

from [User: I'll email you]

When I click on the link to the Loomio subgroup, I am caught in an endless loop of sign-ins (although I am already signed in). I sign in again, and it asks again for me to sign-in. Maybe a Loomio 2.0 bug? Anyone else experiencing this too? If so, I am happy to report the bug. (edited)

Greg Kan

hi there, that option shouldn't be there for proposals. proposals have preset options. a fix is being deployed that will mean this option does not show up for proposals. thank you!

Mathieu Matheod

When creating a proposal, we have the option to allow voters to create their own option, exept it have no effect on proposal, only on poll (exept counting poll).

Robert Guthrie

Cool, thank you, just what I need, I have another thread renderer in the works for this, I think there is just a little work to do to enable 1000+ scale, so this is the right place to fix things

Hugi Ásgeirsson

This is not a bug report but a benchmark. I present to you the 214 replies long Membership prices 2020 from the Borderland Loomio. It's a pretty good place to go for testing how the 2.0 client behaves with huge threads. It's also one of the messier advice processes we've had, so it's also good research material for process geeks.

Robert Guthrie

I'm pretty sure this was due to a network error upstream. Phew.

john gieryn

A bunch of accounts appear to be lacking their profile photos @Rob Guthrie - they are not showing initials, either, as you can probably see from this thread (but here's screenshot anyways)

Greg Kan

@david rayner a rather delayed response but you are now able to re-open closed threads if you're an admin!

david rayner

i had neglected to say that the closed thread was closed to see if closing meant something new and from experience of my pool group,i expected (nay....assumed!) to be able to open it again if not. (but i am an admin...hence the question when i could not.)

i have ruminated in the past as to whether it was a good idea or not for anybody to just make a conversation go away then i experienced a valuable but mildly uncomfortable convo being goneified in our group as optimal for the deleter but not for the group...hmmm...

Robert Guthrie

No, that's not what we intended. Would you expect that you need to be the author or group admin to close or reopen a thread?

Also, if anyone can edit the context (which is a great setting IMO), then should anyone be able to close/reopen it?
