New World Acres Land Coop (working title)

Welcome or Welcome Back! This space was originally organized in early 2020 for visioning and organizing a group of households to purchase a farm near Dubuque, Iowa. But also, more broadly, it is our hope that this space will facilitate connections and action related to intentional community living whether in a rural or urban setting within our region (the Driftless, the tri-state and Midwest).

We anticipate this will be a multi-year process so breathe and take your time with all the information offered here! Maybe more than one initiative may be born or nurtured by this online space.

This is a place for dreaming. It is also a place for exploring the potential of dialogue and deliberation applications (like Loomio!) to "create a safe place for collaborative organizations to work together to achieve shared goals."
