M25 Career Track Hack - 4. progression PATH B: Academic

Academic - this is a possible path for those of us who are intersted in eLearning/ Learning Technology as an academic discipline. Does this exist already? Are there academic learning technology departments, or are they special interest within wider more traditional academic disciplines, like librarianship, or pedagogy? How do you get here?

The PATH chapters should, I suggest, consist of at least 4 sections:
a) an introductory, descriptive section
b) paths (and actions) that (may) lead here
c) qualifications (essential and desirable)

Do you agree? How else should these be structured?
