Winston Sylvans. Writer, filmmaker, intersectional feminist (super opinionated about it), cyclist and brujo. My favourite words are ‘catharsis’ and ‘resuscitate’. I like good food and cheesy puns and dislike littering. I’m a fashion and art enthusiast, when or if it will ever matter. I hope to one day be bio-luminescent.

Inua (short film) Closed Thu 12 Jan 2017 7:45PM
Hello community members.
If you were able to attend the first proposal meeting, you already get the
'Inua' is a passion project that Winston Sylvans has been mulling around for a year now. It is a biographical epoch piece about a man, his mother and his partner. Inua and the unnamed man – who disconnected themselves from the anxious relatives and societal expectations, and allowed themselves space to grow have to question all they had come to know when the man's mother pays an unexpected visit.
Co-written by Winston Sylvans and Edwin Okolo, Inua starts out slightly voyeuristic and finishes with the conflict panning out.
Inua's visual interest also relies on the camera behind the characters often to give a more prurient feel. It'll most likely be shot on a 27 mm or 32 mm lens with zoomed in shot to exaggerate emotions and characteristics. The audience is often presented with the images of the backs of their heads, attesting to a difficulty of access to them as people. They are characters that even at their most open and vulnerable remain apart from a complete understanding, yet the camera set up also positions the audience in a similar prospective to the character, seeing what they see.
To shoot this film, we will need four locations;
the airport - if possible,
an apartment,
a garden,
and a swimming pool.
For equipment;
lights,
two cameras and stands,
two microphones with handles.
And six actors.
Attached are three mood boards made from pictures I've take in the past year.

Osione Itegboje also know at one point or another as JPJ for short, Gregoire's revenge, Tobex, bigstartup, nikanadegbule, nadyatadunriki and so on. I'm a graphic designer and a scam artist. I love to say that I love to make things. I'm very optimistic about life and the people in it. But mostly I'm irritated and want to be left alone to just be bum. I love my wife -- my source of joy, and I love my son, who is the product of that joy!
