Call scheduling
Thread for scheduling calls.
Are these all in ET?
If by ET you mean EST, then yes :)
Apologies for my delay, just got my answers in...
@michelekipiel we should call the date and time soon, methinks...
Sorry, I didn't realize it's already thursday!
Attached are the results of the poll.
I'd prefer saturday, but feel free to organize otherwise :)
MK
And for next time, Loomio added a meeting scheduling function that looks great :)
Good to know! I was wondering how come such a useful function was still MIA
Is the time zone for that poll result Eastern Daylight Time?
Yeah, EST
I propose 4pm Saturday...

I have recently been booked into facilitating a meeting Saturday afternoon. 6:00p would be much better for me.
@thomasbeckett I just realized we should use the new scheduling poll function, rather than the check boxes. I will re-set the vote.
Loving the new loomio features! Now if they would add task-management, they could replace basecamp for me... ;)
Call date and time poll
time poll by Matthew Cropp Closed Fri 28 Apr 2017 1:09PM
Ok let's talk at 4pm EST Saturday. Those who are can't make it are welcome to bring up any points to be discussed on Loomio beforehand, and we'll share notes of the meeting here afterwards.
Let's go when the critical mass of folks are available for a hangouts call. First run at this new doodle alternative feature... :)

Alright, it looks like 4pm and 6pm each works for 4 people. Since the big news to discuss right now is the up and running infrastructure, @mayel, would you like to make the final call as to which time works best for you?
Acuerdo. Look forward to reading the outcomes afterward.
Next Check-in Call
time poll by Matthew Cropp Closed Tue 2 May 2017 4:27PM
I had forgotten that I will be traveling the afternoon of May 7, so the best time looks to be May 6 at 4pm ET. I will not be able to attend that, but will look for notes, Mayel and/or Nathan, can you handle scheduling the call logistics?
Please fill out your availability for a check-in/planning call for social.coop next weekend... :)

Hello everyone,
sorry for not making it for yesterday's call! I was at a weeding lunch/cocktail but things got slightly out of hand and I got to be back home around midnight... Sorry :)
Haha no worries, hope you had a blast!
I confirm May 6th at 4pm EST/ 10pm CEST is fine by me.
I have some juicy news for you too :)
Here's two topics I'd like to address during the call:
- what's our status as a coop (are we registered? If so, where? If not, what are the steps we need to take etc...)
- the subscriber vs. member model
Feel free to add yours!

So sorry I couldn't stay long for this call! It's going to be hard for me to schedule calls in the coming weeks, but please let me know if I can work on something in particular.
When can you make the first of our bi-weekly calls?
time poll by Matthew Cropp Closed Fri 15 Sep 2017 1:03AM
Our first meeting will be Wednesday, September 20th at 3pm via this hangouts link.
We're going to start doing bi-weekly calls hosted by a rotating cast of members to put heads together and work on different aspects of social.coop together. Matt Cropp will be hosting the first one with the discussion topics being a meta-discussion of the bi-weekly calls framework/logistics and a review and revision of the welcome letter folks receive upon joining the co-op.
Note: Because we are global, we can't expect everyone to attend all the meetings. By rotating who "hosts" the meeting, and who thereby schedules it around their availability, we'll hopefully make some meetings accessible to all members, but more to discuss meta-wise @ the meeting.

RSVP for first bi-weekly call on Wednesday, 9/20 at 3pm Eastern
opt-in by Matthew Cropp Closed Wed 20 Sep 2017 3:13PM
The call's agenda will be to discuss the bi-weekly call format and logistics, and to review and update the member welcome letter. The call will be accessible via this Google Hangouts link, unless greater than 10 folks RSVP, in which case we will figure out an alternative call infrastructure. Check 'yes' if you plan on participating, no if not.

10pm CEST it is :)
Hey all, apologies for the delay in following up on this. One of the outcomes of our first call was the process for scheduling future ones! We'll use each of our volunteer hosts once, then convene another "meta" call the reflect and iterate on the process to improve it.
So, @lehighcommunalist, @dougbelshaw and @michelekipiel, please open this spreadsheet and enter your name on the week you would like to host. Once you have done that, please create a schedule poll in this thread with at least 5 times in that week you're available to host the meeting and the topic(s) you'd like to cover in the poll description. Once we have the dates nailed down, we'll move forward!
Thanks @matthewcropp for sharing this, I filled in my details.
Thanks @matthewcropp. I'd like to attend one before hosting one so have put my name down for November 20th. Given that's almost two months away, and others will be running a schedule poll (may I suggest in a separate thread?) I'll hold off running mine just yet... :)
Awesome, @michelekipiel! Next step is for you to get a time poll going... :)
Bi-weekly calls | Let's pick a time and date
time poll by Michele Kipiel Closed Thu 5 Oct 2017 10:44AM
The votes are in! Thank you all for participating :)
It's almost time for our second bi-weekly call and I'll be hosting this time. Let me know when is the best time for you!
PS. My current timezone is UTC+2, I hiope this helps you :)

Just checking to make sure time-zone translation is working, I'm in US Eastern time, and am reading the first time as 3pm on October 9. Are others in different time zones seeing it differently, or is everyone seeing the same set of times?
Hi all,
you can find the agenda for the call at this URL:
https://oasis.sandstorm.io/shared/NsQKKV7d4D1x8rJ_Z_VDJktXDdEQmrXgzU889vpHIDX
I'll share the hangouts link later.
When is the call? Looks like October 11 received the most votes at 2 times. I can't find the final decision, however.
Seconded Thomas Beckett; what date/time did you choose, Michele? Good thing to include in the outcome message.
This is awkward, as I shared the time, the date and the topics in the outcome message... In fact I just checked the outcome message and it's all there.
However, the final date and time is: October the 11th at 9pm UTC+2.
I shared the outcome again, I hope you will get the notification email this time :)
So this is all I see for the outcome:
I will be in a conference this Saturday until ~5pm EST, but could do a little later, or Saturday the 29th at 4pm EST would work for me.
