garden tours: monthly (June, July, and August) st james town garden, Winchester garden, and local community

The Food Corps team was also hoping we could host educational events on other aspects of the food system - processing, preserving, cooking, composting etc. and provide people with opportunities to engage in those pieces

Count me in for that plannning! Sounds great I would include fermenting and sprouting & drying food 🍃

I’ve had this idea for years and it could be Coop/slash/Garden...and that is to have a “present your ideas” kinda contest to get younger people involved and that is to get submissions for a mural to be pained on back cement wall or even covering compost bin -especially bumpy cement wall! Pick a theme based on what we are doing and really get them to think of something cool. Could likely get paint donated -would give us lots of press and get youth involved in our work!
