Update from AntiUni London HQ

SS shiri shalmy Public Seen by 13

Hello AntiUni team SW

Thanks for submitting all your events - they look great!

We had over 50 submissions (more courses than the original AntiUni!) with more trickling in as people add events already planned (Radical Routes fest in Liverpool, Radical Education Forum event in London....) so will prob have 60 all together by the time we start uploading the data on Tuesday.
This is very exciting and tbh we are still quite shocked - and pleased - by the level of interest and enthusiasm we meet whenever we introduce the AntiUni.

We are still planning to go live on 2 Nov so please get ready to start sharing then.

Will get in touch individually with more specific updates / questions but in the meanwhile - THANK YOU from me and the AntiUni London gang.

I put something in for the Cornwall Fringe but need to change the date and time I put down. Any idea how I go about doing that?

Hi Adam. Pleased to see the impressive response from cornwall . Is there anything in place to promote the events on local and web routes (group poster ? ) We are away at the moment
Cheers Simon & Katie

Yeah definitely. @helenmoore1 was doing things on the web front a few weeks ago (particularly setting up and populating a Cornish AUNow facebook group) and I suspect she will continue to do so. Though of course this is open to all to suggest / instigate actions :)

On the print side there's been no discussion so far. I will start one on a new dedicated Loomio thread. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm very pleased too. This was all instigated at almost the last possible minute and yet Shiri tells me there are now 15 or so Cornish events on the programme. Which is 25% of the total or some such? Whatever the exact numbers, great result.

Yes, I will continue to do so, of course any input is welcome. I was thinking about this today in fact, I have two ideas; which when Adam starts the discussion I will upload. I have the images I've used so far to promote the event on facebook to share as well if anyone would like to play around with them. Great turnout for the Cornish branch, so happy. Also maybe a meet-up? x
