Merge the Check-in/Check-out topic with the Chat topic

Yes: The topic is now merged with the Chat topic. I invite someone with appropriate rights to move the Check-in/Check-out topic to the Archive, since I'm on a trip for the next two weeks!
Yes: The Check-in/Check-out topic will be archived and now members will be invited to inform their (upcoming) departures and arrivals in the Chat topic.
No: Keep the Check-in/Check-out and leave departures and arrivals separate from the Chat topic.

We've got less posts in the Chat topic, thus it's no more needed to highlight one's departures and arrivals in a separate topic.

I like having something definite for checking in/out. A lot of topics have been subsumed by the Chat Topic, and don't want something else to be lost.

Yes, it should be done. I see the purpose, but signing in or out seems a little formal with a designated thread.
Turn the Gaming category into a Lounge subcategory

Yes: I'm going to move posts to the new Video Games category.
Agree: The Gaming category will disappear; a new Video Games subcategory will be created under the The Lounge category; all posts under the Gaming category will be moved to the Video Games category.

In my opinion, I don't really think there's going to be a big difference, rather than less clutter on the forums.

What about merging the Check-in/Check-out topic with the Chat topic? Since our chat topic doesn't have 10 new pages per day anymore, this subject should be repatriated.
