Legalising Marijuana/Cannabis

Sorry to throw this in with the mix of all the other topics i'm throwing out there but i feel its important to get it out and delt with so we can stop using it's use as a means to prevent fathers from being part of families and incriminating our people.
I do not condone the use for children or at work and the industry within new zealand could flourish (no pun intended) if it legalised it. The persecution of people using marijuana is outrageous and unnecessary. It has been a big earner for the police and other departments engaging in the war against marijuana use or cultivation. Market gardeners are doing more damage to our soil or people using pesticides than any back yard grower. can we please find positive solutions to this problem our government has refused to budge on for years.
