Global Direct Democracy Group

This group has been dormant for some time now and I was wondering if it would bother you all if we take this loomio group to a higher level.
There has been a discussion in the loomio community about Political use for Loomio. It looks like the people in this discussion are going to form a group. I think that the scope of the group will be bigger than just using loomio and bigger than just one country (but also down to the local level).
Because I thought you all might like to be part of such a conversation I thought we could consider converting this group into a global conversation about Digital Direct democracy.
I am not sure what the other group of people want yet. They may choose to start a fresh group, and I will let you know if that happens.

I don't judge whether this is OK.
I would not take something away from SOL.
I find Loomio useless.
I will continue to participate in this global conversation.

I just joined, and I'm in no position to judge the group's history. I guess that if it's truly dormant it can be converted. Creating a new group is always an option.

As others have stated, I belive that a global solution is what we are now striving for.
My goal is to be a part of creating forms of governance that can be shown to function on local/national levels and scaled up to operate at global levels.
