Proposal for 'Women for Europe' or 'Women Unite for Europe'
I was in touch with Susie Courtault, chair for Brighton for Europe, shortly after the Lib Dem Conference over berets. We since met up at the conference at the QE11 Centre, Westminster.
She rang me on Tuesday afternoon and explained her idea for a 'Women Unite for Europe' campaign and speedily wrote down her ideas which I think are very interesting and exciting. I gave the Media Group a copy that evening but there was a problem with the format which Simon C-J has kindly reversioned for me. It would be interesting to have your comments.

I agree with you Sally and think, unlike our group, Brighton for Europe has more female members who are very active. Perhaps we could slant our publicity towards women?

I have heard back from Susie Courtault and would be interested in your comments and if we would like to sell the merchandise she is promoting.

Great! I've ordered myself a grey t-shirt. I've always loved Rosie the Riveter!

I think it is a great idea that Madeleina wears one of the T-shirts. Alan - I think we should check with Madeleina Kay beforehand that she's OK to wear the T-shirt- just out of courtesy. Do you agree? We might have to do it separately before or after the event. Jane - can someone from media group do the Twitter live stream?
Jane Riekemann Tue 30 Jan 2018 10:12PM
Hi Clare, we can always ask. I have no idea how to do a live stream I’m afraid.

I have ordered via Susie, a Rosy the Riveter T shirt which I am sure will be bought if not worn by Madeleina. I wrote to Madeleina in mid November and sent her a beret. She might need a reminder to bring it along.

Hi Maggie. There are some interesting ideas here, especially pertinent are the ways in which Brexit will affect women. I totally agree with the aims, but even though she states It is not meant to be just another splinter group, I'm wondering if it will, in fact, end up as one.
