Workshop idea: Using European Open Data
Julia Reda Wed 4 Dec 2013 6:30PMPublicSeen by 29I have an idea for a workshop: Some of our developers could teach less informed folks about the Open Data resources that exist in the context of the European institutions and we could collectively work on a cool application with that data. I don't know if it's feasible to do something like this in one weekend, but I'd definitely like to learn about it.
So: Do you think this would be interesting? Is there anyone here who thinks they could lead a workshop like that?

There is a European Parliament Hackathon http://europarl.me at the end of January in Brussels. I'll be there, afterwords I can tell more about European Open Data, maybe I can even lead such a workshop.
