Sustainable villages or communities

Hello all!
I would like to gather together minds to think of ways to design self sustainable and eco-friendly housing/communities in different terrains and landscapes throughout the world. Specifically, I have a lot of interest in trying to design small villages that produce, process, and manufacture with their own hemp, as well as grow fish and food via aquaponics systems. I would like to create models that are simple and easy to recreate anywhere, almost modular in a sense. Please get back in touch if anyone would like to collaborate, thanks!
