This lock will allow keyless or keyed entry and will allow us to allow and deny access to different people at different times.

THis lock is going to be released at the end of the month. I think we should get landlord approval and then order one.

Ryan Guzy

Buy the lock.

If everyone agrees, we will buy the lock.

I want a BLE 4.0 lock that looks like an old deadbolt, but $25 per keyfob and $2 per iPhone/Pad impairs making/taking many keys at will or having the greeter tablet remotely control it.

this is a beta product
lets just get a keypad lock for now

Who's going to get the approval? This is a good opportunity to build trust with the landlords so that we make bigger changes to the building later on.

I'd like to emphazise that this is not an internet connected lock, we have to pre-pair every phone and keychain using our tablet.

This Goji lock is $50 more than the Kevo but has free BLE phone keys, time-ranged access (way important), and built-in wifi and camera for remote control. it still lets you use a mechanical key deadbolt underneath it. we can install a new Kwik smartkey for people without BLE phones and can rotate the key pattern ourselves if we have to, while landlord keeps their same key for the other front door.
