In the ongoing pursuit of organisational transparency, the Nests have committed to asking anonymous questions of the Membership and do a bit of a temperature check about certain topics!

These will be made as simple and non-time-consuming as possible!

Serious Fun!

score poll by Dee Brooks Closed Wed 3 Apr 2024 5:00AM

Outcome
by Dee Brooks Wed 3 Apr 2024 6:50PM

Outcome: we are 3 points more serious than fun in this round, compared to 2 point more fun in the last round, which could be merely due to the audit and other challenges. It’s a great response though & thanks to the 16 people who voted.

Individual Responses: 16 of 50 people participated (32%)

·      neutral is not my colour and I like my serious and humour to be flexible –

·      Recently with audit and lots of tidying up, it's felt more serious. But I love how we often begin and end with laughs and giggles. Looking forward to more fun at the gathering.

·      My sense is the organisation has much more fun than other organisations definitely.

·      Feel we take our work seriously but find ways to add fun in

·      The work we do is serious and has impact. The fun we have keeps me steady, connected and propels me to continue.

·      90% of my experiences with the Jeder members has been fun. Some of the toughest and best decisions were made with that dose of fun. My practice quality has never been better and continues to develop and thrive in this environment. Let's keep it thriving.

·      I hope we continue to bring a wonderful mix of fun and seriousness to the organisation.

·      Fun is like honey it attracts more sweet creatures

In April 2022, we asked the fun versus serious question through a poll and we would like to get another indication of how we work in regards to taking our work seriously and how much fun we are! I've kept the poll anonymous so feel free to share your true feelings! Thanks in advance!

There are rumbles about "transparency" but what does that mean to you? What would you like to know more about? Do you have ideas about how the organisational can be more transparent?

As a Next Stage Organisation, the Bored, Nests, Admin and NPod all try to keep the Membership updated and sometimes, things are unintentionally missed.

I forgot to comment. After nearly 6 years of being a member of Jeder, I've always been able to ask any question on my heart and mind and have never had a closed minded response. There's still a lot I know which I don't know and I am comfortable asking for clarification regarding those. Finally there will always be so much that I don't know that I don't know and a lot of it I don't need to know 🙂. Jeder as an organism is an exceptional being when it comes to transparency.

instead of frameworks could we try Flow charts?

@Fiona Miller sorry I missed this! A flow chart for what? I love flow charts! (your comment is not connected to either of the polls?)

If my memory serves me, it was about reporting frameworks.....KISS just a flow chart, easy step by step. process not methodology

@Fiona Miller excellent - that's what I was thinking, too! I'll have a first stab at it and you can make it pretty?!?

Even though the votes only represented 25% of the Membership, it's good to see that Coaches come out on top. This will be shared at the next Coaches Pod. Thanks to those who voted and gave further information.

How do you receive information? Where do you ask questions? How do you know where to find what you need?

Please rank the following options based on where you source organisational information.
