Method of authentication

There's been talk of RFID, key-pads, and of course, kinect-based dance-recognition. But what are the costs and benefits of our various options?

I started hacking with Jae yesterday on the audio based authentication. I've got it to the point that a double clap will open the door, and soon I'll generalize it to any clapped rhythm.

An RFID by itself might not be terribly secure, but combined with a keypad and or magic hand clap rhythm is should be more than sufficient. 2 factor authentication, where one is easily revoked seems good enough for this kind of application.

RFID isn't exactly secure: http://www.eng.tau.ac.il/~yash/kw-usenix06/index.html
