Will this replace the current template?
Pirate Praveen Thu 19 Feb 2015 2:50AM
@akshay if everyone feels this is better, we'll replace the current site. What do you think about the new template?

Akshay Thu 19 Feb 2015 2:59AM
Well, this is single page, more responsive, removes that girl's photo :P, has a darker background, and a less empty feel

I added GPL wrongly in the proposal description. The template actually has a restrictive license http://pixelarity.com/license (for example it is prohibited to "Use, reproduction or display of the Template in a fashion that we consider as, or under applicable law is considered, [...] immoral, infringing, defamatory or libelous" )
We cannot be sure of what they consider infringing or libelous. Therefore, I retract this proposal.
Suneesh has made a responsive single page website for pirates.org.in (demo at http://piratesmov.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/ ) It's licensed under GPL.
Adopt it.
If disagreeing, please tell what you find not acceptable, and possible fixes.

There is an issue with license., The actual license of this template is http://pixelarity.com/license, and GPL is added by me (sorry, used to add GPL all the time. my mistake)., and i don't have any idea about licensing. is that a problem.?

I haven't checked the source as I viewed it from mobile.. So pardon if I'm wrong.
I would suggest using a mobile-first framework like Bootstrap as currently that page does not looking good in mobile. See attachment.
