Dear QGIS Voting Community

It's been quite a long road to get to this point - the establish of a legal entity behind QGIS! The goal of this thread is to get you, the QGIS voting community, to review and approve how the organizational structures and voting processes will work in the newly formed association ('Verein').

If you need more context on this process, please refer to the blog post we published when we elected you into the QGIS Voting Community. For your reference I also provide the following diagram which explains the proposed organizational layout (but please treat the document as the canonical reference should there be any inconsistencies between the diagram below and the statutes document, the document shall be considered correct).

Please review the attached document (for substance, not minor structural or typographical errors) and indicate your vote of approval / disapproval using the proposal I set up for this thread. If you do find minor structural (e.g. numbering issues) or typographical errors (e.g. spelling mistakes) feel free to let me know and we will correct the document accordingly, but do not let these affect your voting.

You are welcome to discuss anything in this thread (and your discussion is publicly viewable), but please bear in mind that ultimately this is a binary choice - do you accept the revised statutes as presented, or do you not. You may also make comments on the document itself.

In the case that the majority of votes do not accept the statutes, we will review any comments in this thread to understand the issues and make edits to the statutes accordingly and then call for a revote until the statutes are satisfactory to the QGIS Voting Membership.
