You have to be a certain age to do a lot of things in this country. Which ones can we lower or abolish?

You have to be 25 to run for House, 30 to run for Senate, 35 to be President. New York requires you to be 30 to be Governor. I'm sure there are a bunch of other arbitrary age restrictions around the country.
Why is the government the only employer that's allowed to age discriminate?

AGREED! In addition to youth suffrage, the idea that you have to be an old man to hold an office is the worst kind of ageism.

Letting the youth participate in the political process gives everyone access to a new, and potentially refreshing perspective on how to run our government. Furthermore, everyone who can voluntarily make a choice should be able to.

my idea is complete age reform. I think age, responsibility and privledge is arbitrarly set at numbers for contradictory reasons in general.
I think at 18, you become and adult and no privileged or right should be denied to you on account of age, nor any responsibility withheld.
