Members needed to ask for the GA

As the core team does not exist, the GA has to be asked by 10% of the members 6 weeks before the GA (22nd of October?). Last official number of members was 50 in 2014 I don't think we are more than 150. So if we ask for the GA with at least 15 members (more is better) it's almost sure that the GA will be valid. The next point will be to send to invitation on time to all of the members.

Shouldn't this topic be moved in the "GA Fall 2016" folder?
Regarding the statutes, I'm not sure there are valid, actually. Some parts are in conflict with others. My point is that we should simply focus on defining the date and location, and sending invitations on time :)

For the validity of statutes, it's the contradicting articles that might not be valid, not the whole statutes. Otherwise you could say the whole legislative system is not valid if you find one tiny contradiction somewhere. But it's not really a matter here, especially if we make things right :)

I agree with you, I've been a bit fast in my reasoning.
What we can do is just make a proposal here in Loomio to validate the fact that we need a GA. That's a bit of bureaucratic, but everybody should be happy that way. Do we keep the 10% threshold? For what I remember, this threshold was set in order to allow a minority to ask for a GA.
