Openmeeting with the collective, which format?

After this retreat (read the report here): how can we set up regular meetings?
What format and timing would suit you the best?

The spectrum of possibilities is large.
It goes from a walk in forest on a Sunday afternoon to a coworking/coenjoying moment on a week day between 4pm and 10pm (work from 4 to 6.30 and activities betweeen 6.30 and 10pm).

What would be the most fruitful/enjoyable/practical for you? :rabbit:

A forest walk every first Sunday of the month can be a nice initiative. Can even be different groups over Belgium that gather together to retreat in a different forest but at the same time: a local activity, but with a global goal.

I'd enjoy a monthly forest walk as well. Different locations would be cool, or perhaps one location, but a different one every time? Then we get to see some diversity.

At Ingénieurs en transition, we have meetings moving to different weekdays over time, so that people can more freely join when they already have a fixed meeting some times in the week. Could we, for instance, alternate Saturday and Sundays (or even with some weekdays) across the months ?

I agree.

Totally agree with Michka.

And what about meetings with a specific theme that alternates? I can imagine that new people might be triggered by a subject that we could discussed during the walking meeting. Every citizen of the collective can propose a subject that she/he cares about.

Nice idea, the walk in the forest. I would try a session in the "morning" (let's say from 11 am), a lunch together and then a nice walk in the forest :) I agree with Michka's ideas!
And we also leave the door open to anybody on the topic, at Ingénieurs en Transition. It works well when people are inspired, but it is challenging to rely solely on that.
