Naming!!! We have a lot of concepts to communicate... This is a thread to debate them :-D

What's in a name... a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet right? Actually thats bull shit. If a "rose" was called "dead rotting rat", it would not smell as sweet. Just like how meals taste better when they have an artful presentation, concepts are better communicated when they are artfully and intentionally worded.

oops bad voting design

Decentralized Altruistic Community is quite the mouthful... its nice to use an acronym, but how do we say the name?

I always call it Giveth D.A.C. but I think I say Unicorn DAC :) - We opted for DAC in writing before - people can pronounce it they way they want. Is the proposal to change it in writing to D.A.C. ?

For me the simpler the better; ideally just Giveth or Giveth Community!

I agree :) Guess this should have been a poll ;-) I think you won't be able to force people to say dee-aye-see but yes I vote for that one. And plz no, let's not add the dots. We write it without everywhere, even in logos (eg aragon dac)

If you want Dee Aye See, you need the dots. D.A.C.

Other concept, not bringing it to a vote but we discussed this as well in the Giveth Community Meeting : the people in our Community are they Change Makers, Makers, Givers or Unicorns ?
Or are they all of the above? Do we need three or more terms or just one? I'm undecided on this topic tbh.

Betting safe I'd go with community; a more descriptive label will probably need changing regularly otherwise!

I like spelling it out D A C... but the vote is a little weird, cause i'm not sure what we're agreeing on?
