Not a clever question. Think Wind Farm - environmentally damaging in terms of visual, loss of land [eg peat bogs] increased traffic, use of concrete etc etc...and all for the ultimate good of producing renewable energy [you need to break eggs to create an omelette]

If the Scottish Government is serious about Scotland leading the world on environmental issues, it ought to ensure the Enterprise Fund ONLY funds projects with a positive environmental impact.

ScotGov have their hands tied - drug legislation is not devolved. Money is going where it is required, from the non-bottomless money pit. To argue otherwise is political perversion

UK government has tied the hands of the Scottish Government,and its welfare policies are causing the conditions for drug use to increase. Many of the deaths are also related to the mass unemployment caused by Margaret Thatcher.

hemp and cannabis should be decriminalised. resources can then be used for other illegal drugs instead and those needing cannabis for health reasons can use without fear of being criminalised for trying to keep their health stable.
