I was also going to use those, for kilne dried (last year we used hard wood and they were damp so didnt light :( )

Lynne on FB said the company she used last year offered a bulk discount, just waiting to hear back from her :)

The minimum they would deliver in the quote I got would be 2 of the large dumpy bags. One hardwood and one softwood. Softwood is much easier to light and you need a decent fire to get hardwood to burn. Also comes with 4 bags of kindling.

Ok that sounds great. I have someone on FB advising a cheaper option, I’m just waiting to hear from them and see if it’s cheaper. Essentially we want as many people to chip (wood pun) in as possible for the delivery so the site don’t have too much traffic for delivery.

Panravia will need about 1m3 and would be up to join the group order. Do we have any price estimate?

Nothing as yet, I’m away for 2 weeks now so can chase that when back - Baillie said that she had a supplier that offered discount for large orders but I have not heard from her as yet. Standard i think it’s about £80 per load.

I'm guessing they aren't very technical and still love phone calls.
