Funding for anyone working on an allotment!
[I know some people may be creating forest gardens on allotment sites... if so... this might be useful!]
The National Allotment Gardens Trust awards funding of between £250 to £2,000 to allotment gardens that meets the following criteria:
The committee must be officially recognised by the landlord of the site.
Must have a written and signed constitution.
Have a bank account with three signatories.
Have a forwarding address and named contact.
The amount of funding that is awarded to each applicant will be at the discretion of the Board of Trustees and may not necessarily be the total sum that is applied for.
If your completed application form is accepted it may be necessary for one of the trustees to contact the committee submitting the application so a telephone contact number should be shown.
Deadline: Continuous rolling basis. Applications will be assessed by the Board of Trustees on a quarterly basis; the deadlines for applications to be considered at the next meeting are 1 January, 1 April, 1 July and 1 October each year.
