Can we use this thread to share what was fiscusses/decided on this bi-weekly call?

I probably will be unavailable but do want to know the team's current thinking and next steps.

Dam Marks suggested Flobots Rise as our theme song. I like it and often play it when I work on twitter.

sorry i had to bail on the call this week. too many things. just wanted to mention that it wasn't Dan that suggested Flobots, i think it was Chas or someone. Dan would suggest a non-copyright infringing song, so we can play it on Occupy Television and other places w/out getting hassled.

Oh hell that is important to have the copyrights covered. BIG important. Better to go digging for some new music than stuff that can be nixed by an nit picky frontdesk editor.

There are tons of music out there that the artists will be glad to give permission.
This is too easy of a mistake to avoid.
Do not use copyrighted material without permission.
It is not difficult to get permission or a refusal , though permission for some BS music it can be expensive.

Amazon has tons of artist with free music and often reviews. And I know there is better places than Amazon for digging for gems.
