Petition for passing legislation requiring that publicly financed software developed for the public sector to be OSS

Όσο αφορά τη Κύπρο τζαι να τους πάρουμε petition εν τζαι δέχουνται το.
Απ ότι ξέρω μάσσιεται το http://futureworldscenter.org/ να κάμει online petition σε συνεργασία με το κράτος και άμα έχει ένα αριθμό ψήφων και πάνω να αναγκάζει τη σχετική επιτροπή της βουλής να το συζητήσει.

How about reaching out to them and becoming a supporting organization? I am not sure what is really needed other than publicly stating your support of their effort. I could send an email showing interest and try to learn more if the rest are onboard.

So I went ahead and contacted them, we are now listed under supporting organizations on: https://publiccode.eu/. :slight_smile:

We should also sign https://savecodeshare.eu/, the procedure is automated there. It is probably better for a member of the board to do that, to be more legit.

I will try to continue communicating with FSFE, see if I can get us listed as associates https://fsfe.org/associates/associates.en.html
I will start a new thread if further action is needed on that.
