Presidential Primary-Who is on the ballot

Our current position on who to include in the presidential Primary is that until January 1st we will use the Maryland Green Party Standards Described here
that the candidate not be a registrant of any state or national political party in the individual’s primary state of residence except for a state party which has affiliated with GPUS, or a party forming for the intent of GPUS affiliation in a state where there is no GPUS affiliated state party;
that the candidate has established a campaign committee and filed with the Federal Election Commission or has publicly declared an exploratory committee to seek the Green Party's nomination for President of the United States;
has a website to promote their candidacy; and
Has publicly promoted fundraising ability, either with an online donation portal or mailing address capable of receiving campaign contributions."
Then on January 1st we will utilize the Green Party of the United States Presidential Campaign Support Committee Recognized Candidates List.
I have been a member of the Presidential Campaign support committee since August and I believe we should de-link our process from that process so that we can decide who is included on our ballot based on our own standards and not based on any external or national green party process.

The Maryland Green Party will decide who is included on the ballot in our presidential nominating process using our own standards and not those of the GPUS PCSC.. Closed Fri 15 Nov 2019 7:02PM
This proposal would require the MGP to come up with our own standards for determining who is included on our ballot for our presidential nominating process and would preclude us from linking our process to the GPUS recognition process.
If our process is going to occur in May or June then the MGP-CC should ratify standards to appear on our ballot no later than 2/1/2020
If our process is going to occur in February then the MGP-CC should ratify standards to appear on our ballot no later than 12/1/2019
