Proposal regarding candidates at the MGP Assembly

This year at the Maryland Green Party Assembly instead of inviting candidates to attend the assembly we should allow Maryland Greens who support candidates to speak on their behalf.

We are discussing this on the listserv. Should we move that discussion here, or keep it going on the listserv, which has the advantage of being able to reference prior messages? Or are we splitting the issue into pieces? (which might not be a bad idea)
