Arts For Labour - Cultural Democracy
This group's about putting participatory tools at the service of the UK labour movement in order to strengthen and support the goal of an arts and culture sector that serves the many not the few. Through digital consultation and a series of live events across the country we aim to start a national conversation in 2017/8 about what culture is and what its role is in our society and translate this collective understanding into a cultural policy-framework that is both geared towards the future and profoundly democratic.
