Explore ideas for unschoolers when staying home is not an option. What if "the Frizz" invited kids to help build their own magic mobile that would pick up kids at libraries and head for adventures of THEIR OWN choosing? Packed with maker tools and materials, this real ride would foster a democratic process of manifesting adventures while supporting individual and collaborative creativity and exploration. Using local libraries as "bus stops" and research resources, the Wanderbus could investigate all manner of community treasures, landscapes and institutions. Let's brainstorm other ideas for kids whose parents are not available during the day to support their self-directed learning activities.
