Rideshare Driver's Co-Operative Victoria

The Rideshare Driver's Co-Operative Victoria more than a group. We are starting the Rideshare Drivers Association of Victoria to lobby govt for Vic drivers. We wanted an association that is relevant to Victorian legislation and regulations, that is representative of all drivers and that has democratically elected leadership.

Unions are a very valuable resource for both workers and companies. For drivers, a union could provide leave pay, sickness, loss, theft, and drive insurance, advanced driver training, retirement benefits, much that is missing within a self-funding work environment. Unions can also provide ethical companies with a lobby and with an assured professional workforce. And companies can provide union members with training subsidies, further employment opportunities. But you need numbers to do that.
