What we're here to do
Throughout 2016, we hosted a range of online discussions and offline workshops that bought together diverse stakeholders and experts around the idea of a New Zealand Data Commons. We worked through a range of issues together, and eventually converged on a shared vision. This vision has been captured in the Data Commons Blueprint V1.3 and in the form of an online collaborative document (using a tool called Gitbook).

Your hosts
The project as a whole is lead by Billy Matheson and James Mansell, but the project has only been possible thanks to the support of many individuals and organisations. Now that the Blueprint has been developed we'd like to invite you to join the team and help shape up our next steps.

Participants
The members of this group represent a cross-section of experts and stakeholders. If you feel important voices are missing, you can invite people to engage by directing them to this group (http://datacommonsnz.loomio.org), where they can click "ask to join" and introduce themselves to the hosts.
