Collective Subscription Plan
Would be interesting to setup a collective subscription plan for group users instead of the group's founder payment.
This collective subscription plan could work as a sort of crowdfunding.
The founder starts a group, setup a minimum users' number (so to setup how is the individual fee), invite users to subscribe, when the users subscribed they're asked to pay their fee to reach the total subscription amount, when the amount is reached into a deadline, the group starts. If the amount is not reached into a deadline the group doesn't start.

The collective subscription plan decentralize costs and make reasonable them for little groups. The costs are distributed to many users instead on the group's founder.

I think this might appeal to informal groups, but paid plans features are probably more aimed at formal groups: not sure a lot of groups would benefit from this. There are crowdfunding solutions out there that could be used instead.
I'm not convinced we should we working on this problem. It seems like a group coordinator can already do this with existing tools and facilitation, I don't think we can do better than that.
The non-profit plan is currently $5 / mo... I can't really imagine crowdfunding that kind of cash to be worth the effort it would take within a group to a) make the decision on their end, and b) manage the accounting of several $1/mo (or less?) 'subscriptions' on our end.
I thought to use it for the Pro plan
Loomio has a group based subscription plans, basicly my proposal is to put beside an individuals' based subscriptions. I red all your statements and I can understand why you disagree. Probably a good way to implement my proposal is to make a crowdfunding outside Loomio to collect funds before opening groups. Thanks for your attention!
Imho a collective subscription plan could be a way to involve users into cost management of groups. It's a way to decentralize costs instead on centralizing them on an organization. Individual fees make costs reasonable for little groups.
