Greetings Everyone:
I would like to discuss NEXT STEPS since the passage of the final document last Sunday.
Everyone is discussing about the unprecedented openness, inclusiveness and transparency that occurred at the UN for the Post-2015 Development Agenda, and that we must work together to find a way to keep this going past September when the final document is adopted by the UN, and next September when the final version of the Indicators are adopted.
I believe the key to this openness, etc., are the structures for organizing and communicating that were created for this process - mainly the 9 Major Groups, including the NGO Major Group, for us to organize ourselves in.
I believe these structures overall worked quite well, and we should join together to find a way to make them permanent at the UN - a permanent forum for the major stakeholders in UN work - to organize and strategize within.
I believe this is a huge issue, a desperate issue which we must focus on and do something about, or things are just going to deteriorate and return to the way things were before, which was not so great.
We are going to lose everything we have worked so hard on, and achieved.
We must stay focused and do something about this !!!

Hi @hannakhansson @mwangiwaituru - it might be interesting to have preliminary working groups on each one of the identified objectives to start to flesh out how these objectives might look in practice?

Dear @arslanhyder, @geminternational and @dossesossouga
As this is a vouluntary initative as of now, there are unfortunatley no resouces to fund participation in New York at this point. However, we are working to set up a live streaming of the event to allow those that cannot attend in person to attend. Will keep you informed about this.
Best,
Hanna
