Movement is the alternate teams suggested by 左翼 after Revolution were used. Since many people reject them to participate in the situation, it is better use Revolution.
Umbrella Revolution also used in many international media including the upcoming cover page of TIME magazine (AP version) as well as CNN like this (00:45):

as said, revolution is a serious political wording. prefer movement/campaign this kind of words
