Name Your Community Groups

As part of our set up with Loomio, each community is going to get to set up a public Community Group, which will work exactly the same as these groups do, but you'll be able to invite as many people as you want into them.

However, before we have Loomio set them up, we'll need you all to name them. They can be whatever you want, but they should probably do a couple of things:

1) Say what the goal is
2) Name the community

Some ideas, just off the top of my head, to get you started: "Go Vote Bristol," "Engage Pawtucket," "Warwick Millennials for a Better Democracy"

If you want to set up public groups to get friends and others in your community to use Loomio to help organize your campaigns, you need to name your public group. Once I have that info, I can get you a public URL and you can publicize that for your outreach. I'm happy to help you set up your pubic groups - just let me know how I can help. Can you send me the names by Wednesday (or sooner!). Happy snow day.

The plan is for each community group to have a public Loomio group that they can direct people to who want to work with them on their campaigns. Students will be the administrators. Let's finalize the URL so we can set these up and you can get started.
