Storing images locally
There uploading images loomi locally without using Amazon S3?
It is solved - partially. (Avatars and Banners can be saved to the local filesystem.)

Uploading images in comments is extremely complicated, but I am working on an abstraction layer to take care of uploads. It will probably only be useful for those who install the angular system and will probably take a few weeks before all the kinks are worked out.
Not currently, but we would like to support it. If you're able to do the work that would be super.
