Homies Cosy Teahouse - Regular film screenings

RDB Richard D. Bartlett Public Seen by 377

Every Tuesday Evening

We are interested in showing a range of films. Past films we have shown, in a space no longer available to us, have had a didactic edge, or political lessons. We want a film night for people to come hang, watch and then discuss

@lucywheeler the form on the people's cinema website is the same one as the one for 17 tory st on concerned citizens website, so the best thing is that they email me @ jonathan.king at riseup.net

for projector training @richardkeys is best if he's available?

Great, thanks Jonathan. @richardshepherd Think this was meant for you, I wonder if you are about next Friday sometime that would suit to give Naomi from Homies Cosy Teahouse some training with the projector?

Hey @lucywheeler - I wonder if we could strike up a deal with Homies that would see them contribute the koha of taking out the recycling and rubbish on their film nights? We've not got a system working at the moment and some of the bottles from one of the exhibitions is beginning to stink. What do people think?

Yayy @naomismith thats awesome :) Also thinking how best we can secure your laptop and to store the bean bags as discussed? All ideas welcome! As far as I am aware the locked cupboards are Fightbacks and The See Here and any arrangements would need to be with them.

Hey @naomismith - thanks! It is real simple, recyclables go in regular supermarket bags and we put them out beside the door at 19 Tory St - usually the other occupants will have a few bags out too, and they magically get turned into other wonderful consumables.

Hey @naomismith would it be okay if Homies Film screenings took a couple of weeks off during Fringe? It runs from Feb 12 - March 5th

This is taking a break until January 12th and then starting up again. I've adjusted the calendar for maximum smoothe.
