Loomio

Network all NZ parties + special interest groups + citizens + residents into a national super civil society federation

DU William Asiata Public Seen by 14

The idea is to establish an inclusive federation of all movement groups in New Zealand (political, community, religious, activist, business, advocacy organisations, etc.).
Whether a party is new or old, well established or emerging, rising in popularity or decreasing in popularity, single issue or broad spectrum, living or defunct, the idea being put forward here is that all parties in a nation, in this instance New Zealand, can federate alongside every other kind of organisation in NZ into a unified super civil society, that has capacity to include every member of a nation.
Given appropriate decision making tools and mechanisms (e.g. Loomio),there is possibility and potential that a higher level of social order (inspiring the qualities of agreement, consensus and unism, etc.) could emerge across the entire national polity from such an initiative.

Such an idea as super civil society networks could also be established at the sub-national level as well, such as at the levels of every region, electorate, district and suburb - thereby bringing a facility to build agreement and consensus more directly between neighbours in close vicinity of diverse and varying backgrounds.

Cheers @strypey for setting this group up, thought provoking when I stumbled upon it.

@richarddbartlett
Here's another random perspective on the potential possibilities that something like being enabled to connect groups of people to form networks could bring.

If you have a spare moment please fill out this survey questionnaire, I would love to hear your thoughts & comments and any feedback is much appreciated.
