Hello everyone.... My name is Arunditti and I am new to Android development. I have a long gap after my masters. Before starting the scholarship I did Android Basics courses but could not finish Data Storage so now I am doing Data Storage from Android basics before going to data storage in this course. I am glad I found this channel yesterday and got the permission to work with all of you who are very experienced and have the great app idea... I will try my best to do whatever I can do contribute in the project.

Hi everyone my name is Ijeoma. I've been learning Android development on and off for the past two years. I work as QA Specialist. After finally making the commitment to work completely as a Mobile QA Automation role(a role I was internally hired to do and met some hurdles not allowing me to do so along the way) I decided to apply with the hope of fully understanding the Android framework and I've looked into iOS as well. I'm really passionate about code quality and test engineering. I'm taking the challenge to help me understand Android more for work. I also serve as Android Study Group Lead at Women Who Code DC. I can help with java questions, testing, basic android questions.looking forward to building this project with you all.

@ijeomaezeonyebuchi this is amazing! We will really need your expertise on this project. Have you seen the Android Testing Codelab? I'm planning to set up the code architecture in MVP (in this instance I'm referring to Model-View-Presenter) pattern so the code can easily be tested with JUnit, Mokito and Espresso. This is completely new to me - but I am also passionate about code quality and good architecture - so I am eager to learn from you.

I went through part of the code lab while I was at I/O so Im slightly familiar but I'm all about leaning by doing(trying to overcome my inner imposter syndrome). We started using Architecture components within the past 6months sodiving deeper. But I have some general ideas abouut where to start.

Hi ladies! I had 4 years of work experience and a masters degree in CS when I had to take a break to raise my kids (because my employer wasn't willing to let me work part time). Now 5 years later, my kids have started going to school and I ready to transition back to the work force. Since my resume has a gap (GASP!) my current agenda is to brush up on data structures and algorithms for interviews and create programming projects.
If managing a home and taking care of kids was tough, programming for 8 hours, and still doing all the same tasks at home is tougher. Full respect to women who have a career as well as manage their home and kids!

Steph here. Currently in Louisville, KY, but coming originally from the Washington DC area, via various other stops along the way. I love the idea of a collaborative project, and right after I popped in on Slack saying I'd be interested but couldn't guarantee time-involvement ..... I then disappeared from Slack/Udacity for over a week. :-/ I'm still interested, but given my panic of not having gotten A N Y W H E R E in the assigned coursework ..... it'll be limited. But I still wanna, if nothing else, lurk and offer "You Go Girl" cheers and support!
