What's the best way to make sense of CTF tasks

LF Luke Flegg Public Seen by 216

So that new people can look at it and go "Wow, I get it! How exciting. Ooh, I can do that task...I'll tag myself and do it!" instead of "Ow my eyes. What the fuck am I looking at?"

Be more cunning with the way we label/categorize tasks Closed Tue 15 Apr 2014 5:07PM

Instead of coloured labels being for type of task like they are now (events, admin, money, etc) use them for complexity (anyone can do this, most people can do this, only experienced Core Team can do this, etc) and add 'fake members' to cards to define what type of task they are (so add like 10 or whatever email addresses to the board like [email protected] - it doesn't have to be a real email address, it'll create a member out of the email address which can be added to cards, and cards can be filtered by it)

*I'm using 'cards' and 'tasks' interchangeably as they're basically the same thing on this board

It gives us unlimited options for task-type labels.
Colours are intuitive for complexity: Green = easy,
Yellow = quite easy, Orange = quite hard/high responsibility, Red = very hard/high responsibility

I think we can have two sets of labels - one for type and one for difficulty?

Was thrown off by the phrase fake members but I figured its quite a simple way to tag tasks

I propose we use www.Wrike.com Closed Wed 9 Sep 2015 5:08PM

So I'm proposing Wrike is the websites (and app) that we all use to manage tasks... everything that helps drive ChangeTheFuture forward. I'm happy to help train people to use it!

Wrike is a deliciously stable, fully featured task management app. It's difficult to get your head round at first, but you learn very quickly. After 20 mins with me, you'll be comfortable creating and leading tasks in a collaborative space

It is. But they've given us 1/2 a year free + 50% thereafter.
Good to see you here on Loomio! Although we've decided on VE for making decisions, i like to check back how Loomio is developing..
