Last year we came up with a way to do outreach together through a group a Facebook message and a google doc of active Occupy groups. We are checking if they are active by seeing if there's been any activity in 2014. If so, we are sending an inquiry and invitation. It's very gratifying to find so many ppl continuing to work together for a better world.
They are happy to hear from us.
The outreach features a resident DJ (me) who finds the finest music videos to inspire the work.

We do have an idea of time needed: it took 5-10 people 6 wks to cover most, but not all the active Occupys in US, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, maybe more. once a week parties + independent hours.

I mean you folks already have a date- this proposal is to help create buy in.
Once the stakeholders step up we can work on promoting the party time which there seems to be consensus around already :)

Justin, as I read your proposal it is to set a regular day and time, which we already have (as you state right above). So can we close this proposal and discuss instead how to bring people into the process? Reasking me to agree to what I am already doing (which is what this feels like to me) is not helpful—just come on in! Then invite your buddies!

Sally proposals are not just to decide things they are a key way Occupy creates buy in.
Again Sally I need to point out you often try & redirect conversations in your comments.
Please consider the other 5 people who haven't had a chance to see let alone weigh in.
There is a method to the processes we use.
Please bear with us as we all learn together a new way of communicating.

I can't seem to change the subject line that says Thursdays. Sorry for the confusion.
Co- working simultaneously on a shared document (with shared music) is a lot of fun . We've been using a private message on FB to communicate. This means you have to be FB friends with the person.
Can we have a thread here (private? Public?)) that is just a "discussion" within a working group so others don't have to be bothered. We can post the link to the outreach doc , set a time and talk to each other on the discussion thread. This will keep transparent who worked on what and when.
Let's keep it light and simple and fun. Justin is right.. We are all learning - and dancing to our own tune so let's build some harmony while we surf the USA

The day has so far been Tuesday at noon ET. (Admittedly we have only had one this year, but Jackie wrote up instructions, as a new person was confused with how to go about it.) Maybe we need to change the proposal to discussing how to bring new folks in.
