Occupy Limits
Two objectives: (1) to provide support for people with limited mobility, so we can participate in the marches, (2) to provide an opportunity for other people to vicariously Occupy the experience of limitations.
I'm proposing 3 new Occupies: Occupy Aging, Occupy Wheelchairs, and Occupy Limits for anyone else who would need some form of transportation in order to participate - assuming there are other people out there who would like to join one of these groups.
I'm imagining us in the marches, rolling along with banners to to identify us.
- Are there other people who might be interested in joining one of these Occupies?
- Might these Occupies, as representing a minority population, be included in the Racism, Ethnic Minorities working group?
- Does anyone have any ideas about what kind of transportation could be provided?
