Meetings will be Mondays 10:30am-12pm.
The agenda will be formatted as:
10 minutes - Warm Up / Check In
30 miutes - Pressing Topic(s)
10 minutes - Financial Information
30 minutes - All Report Back on Work
10 minutes - Wrap Up
Everybody is paid for Monday meetings. Other meetings and spirituality sessions are paid for in equity.
In order to become a permanent owner, all equity must be in labor/sweat equity. Members cannot pay cash for the equity used to calculate their progress toward the threshold of equity required for permanent ownership.
We will be raising the ownership share to $3,000, when the Governance Council or decision-making permanent owners decide we are ready to. We expect this to equal the 200 hours of labor that earliest worker-owners had to contribute to become permanent.
1/3 (one third) of equity required to become permanent owner will be awarded to women, girls and/or those with F gender markers on their ID. This is the Mariam Abdulrab Grant of Equity.
1/2 (half) of equity required to become permanent owner will be awarded to women, girls and/or those with F gender markers on their ID that are Black, African-American, African or Afro-diasporic.
People will agree on their compensation with their team organizer, in alignment with the budget agreed to by decision-making permanent owners.
