Feeding The Masses

I IncorrigibleRogue Public Seen by 24

I have another idea, due to the fact that my previous idea (while amazing) requires a substantial amount of upfront time and resource investment. We need something that we can do easily.
The plan is to plant edible plants in public land in order to make free food available for all. Any suggestions on how to make these gardens hidden but accessible, and what to plant, where to plant it is welcome.

Some good things to plant: sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, fruit trees (apple, pear, peach, cherry, etc.), carrots, blueberries, blackberries, grapes, strawberries, honeydew, and watermelon. Those are the ones I can name off of the top of my head. If areas in such gardens where people were able to cook and prepare food there could be a wider variety.

What type of plant would ofc differ based on climate but i would consider low growing berry bushes as easily hideable. Hiding place could forests, but not national parks tho that could hurt potentially endangered ecology

I don't have all the answers my friend, I do agree that growing food in national parks is not a good idea but I have no idea on where these things should be. Nor do I know for sure what plants do better in certain climates.

Look up "Guerrilla Gardening". It's when people create plant displays and leave them around the city (usually containing food plants).
